The painting “The Last Supper” by Leonardo Da Vinci was painted from 1495-1498 in Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan. It is based on the Last Supper Jesus Shared with his deciples on the night before he was arrested. It shows the reactions of all the deciples when he told them one of them would betray them. Over the years the painting has deteriorated. In 1978-1999 a major restoration was guided by Pinin Bram Barcilon. The restoration of 21 years was displayed on May 28,1999.
